Hedoné is an artist collective, registered non-profit organisation and charity, designed to serve the growing ethical hedonist community and the society as a whole. We aim to raise awareness on ethical hedonism and fight against prejudices against pleasure through organising events, exhibitions, performances and happenings on three different levels:
Hedoné aims to introduce individuals to the philosophy of ethical hedonism, theories and techniques governing the attainment of pleasure and freedom. Our overall goal is to increase individual happiness through a variety of teachings and practices.
Through participation in our events, people not only learn new techniques and incorporate new perspectives that improve their personal well being, but also take part in a collective performance against female genital mutilation, as well as support the artistic and healing community, including performers and healing facilitators. All the disciplines taught during the events are actively endorsed by the Hedoné collective.
We pledge to donate all the profit raised from Hedoné events to the non-profit organisations that fight against female genital mutilation and support victims of such abuse. Genital Mutilation is a crime against humanity and a violation of sexual pleasure, that currently causes suffering to over 160 million girls and women worldwide.
