Hedoné is an artist collective and charity designed to serve the growing ethical hedonist community and society as a whole. We aim to raise awareness on ethical hedonism and fight prejudices against pleasure through events, exhibitions, performances and happenings on three different levels:
Hedoné aims to introduce individuals to the philosophy of ethical hedonism, theories and techniques designed to help its practitioners attain pleasure and freedom. Our overall goal is to increase individual harmony through a variety of teachings and practices.
Through participation in our events, people not only learn new techniques and incorporate new perspectives that improve their personal well being, but also take part in a collective performance against female genital mutilation, as well as support the artistic and healing community.
We pledge to donate all profits raised from Hedoné events to non-profit organizations that fight female genital mutilation and support victims of such abuse. Genital Mutilation is a crime against humanity and a violation of sexual pleasure that currently causes suffering for over 160 million girls and women worldwide.
